Application of childlike fun nursing in anesthesia induction for bronchoalveolar lavage in children

Objective: 

To analyze the application effect of childlike fun nursing in anesthesia induction for bronchoalveolar lavage in children, and to provide a reference for improving the cooperation of children during anesthesia.

Methods:

A total of 80 children who underwent bronchoalveolar lavage in our hospital from October 2023 to May 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, while the observation group received childlike fun nursing on the basis of conventional nursing. The compliance rate of anesthesia induction and the anxiety status before and after intervention were compared between the two groups.

Results:

After intervention, the compliance rate of anesthesia induction in the observation group (90.00%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (72.50%), and the score of the Chinese version of the Modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale (Cm-YPAS) was significantly lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05).

Conclusion:

The childlike fun nursing model can effectively alleviate the anxiety of children during anesthesia induction for bronchoalveolar lavage and improve their cooperation, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
